⏰ Important: Availability & Scheduling
I work full-time and am based in China, so my teaching availability is limited to weekends, Chinese public holidays, as well as my off-hours, typically in the evenings after work or in the mornings before I start my day.
Due to the time zone differences, please only book if you’re flexible with scheduling. I’ll do my best to accommodate your preferred times!

Q:Can I get a refund if I change my mind?
For lesson packages: You may request a refund for unused lessons within the first 2 lessons of your package. Any transaction fees (including processing fees from Wise, PayPal, or banks) will be deducted from your refund. Please consider carefully before purchasing a package. I recommend starting with a single lesson first!

Q:What platform do we use for lessons?
I can teach via Zoom, WhatsApp Video, or WeChat Video. WeChat is preferred as I’m based in China and it ensures the most stable connection for both of us. You can choose whichever platform works best for you!
Q:How do I schedule my lessons after payment?
After completing payment, please send me an email at [email protected] or message me directly on WhatsApp (click the chat widget on this page). Let me know your preferred days and times (please include your time zone!), and we’ll arrange a schedule that works for both of us.
Q:When are you available to teach?
Due to my full-time job and time zone differences between China and Western countries, I’m mainly available on weekends and Chinese public holidays. If you have a regular weekday schedule and need lessons during Chinese business hours, my availability may be limited. Please only purchase if you’re comfortable with weekend lessons or flexible scheduling.
Q:How long are lesson packages valid?
5-lesson packages are valid for 2 months from the date of purchase. 10-lesson packages are valid for 3 months. This gives you flexibility while ensuring we maintain momentum in your learning journey.
Q:Do you provide learning materials?
Yes! I create customized materials for each student based on your level, goals, and interests. All materials (PDFs, slides, worksheets) will be shared with you after each lesson. You’ll also receive homework to practice between sessions.
Q:I'm a complete beginner. Can you help me?
Absolutely! I welcome students of all levels, from complete beginners to advanced learners. During the trial lesson, we’ll assess your current level and create a personalized learning plan just for you.
Q:Can you help me prepare for HSK exams?
Yes! I offer HSK exam preparation for all levels (HSK 1-6). We’ll focus on exam strategies, practice tests, and strengthening weak areas to help you pass with confidence.
Q:Do you teach Cantonese too?
Yes! As a native speaker from Guangdong, I’m fluent in both Mandarin and Cantonese. I can teach either or both languages depending on your needs.
