An experienced native Mandarin speaker from China with a passion for helping students master Chinese culture and language.
With over five years of teaching experience, I have helped hundreds of students from around the globe meet their Chinese learning goals – everything from casual conversations to HSK exam preparation.
My Teaching Journey
I was born in Hunan and raised in Zhanjiang, Guangdong before later moving to Zhongshan where I currently reside. While working full-time for an international trade building materials factory in China, in my free time I teach Mandarin and Cantonese online classes through various platforms as an enjoyable way of sharing my love of language and culture with students from all around the globe.
As I began teaching when helping some international students to learn Mandarin, what began as a hobby quickly turned into a rewarding career – I have since enjoyed working with everyone from beginner students learning for HSK exams or business Chinese exams to advanced learners studying for HSK exams or business Chinese exam preparation courses.
Teaching Chinese is my passion – something I do in my free time to bridge cultural divides. I truly enjoy creating friendships with my students, and would welcome any of them visiting China one day!
As well as teaching, my other hobbies include dancing, clothing design and learning a second language. All these pursuits keep my life interesting and bring excitement and enthusiasm into each classroom session that I lead.
